CSCO (Chief Supply Chain Officer) Insights, the only publication and web site targeted specifically to meet the needs of current and aspiring supply chain and logistics executives, has launched its first published issue and web site.
CSCO Insights is a hardcopy newsletter that is delivered to more than 5000 supply chain executives. It focuses on topics of interest to supply chain and logistics leaders, and is written in a style and tone tailored for that audience.
The cover story of the premier issue, also available in an electronic version on the publication’s web site (www.cscsoinsights.com), focuses on “The Integrated Supply Chain Organization.” That issue also includes the monthly “Profiles in Supply Chain Leadership” section, featuring an insightful interview with former Limited Brands’ supply chain executive Nick LaHowchic.
CSCO Insights is a free publication, but will have a controlled circulation of selected executives. It will offer unique insight and information that specifically meet the needs of executives grappling with today’s challenges of strategy, operations excellence, and performance in the complex global supply chain environment.
Subscriptions will be accepted for qualified supply chain, logistics, corporate, and related leaders.
Gene Tyndall, one of the industry’s most recognized global authorities on Supply Chain Management, serves as Editor of the new publication. Tyndall has a long and distinguished career as a supply chain chief executive himself, as well as advising hundreds of companies on how to improve their supply chains over the past 20 years. He recently received the “Global Logistics Person of the Year” award from the Global Institute of Logistics, and was elected into its logistics hall of fame.
“There are many good information resources in the market, but we believe there is a clear opportunity and need to provide senior supply chain leaders with a focused and concise publication that addresses their unique concerns and information needs from an executive perspective,” said Tyndall.
The web site features articles, news and research that helps busy supply chain executives abreast of key industry developments and opportunities.
